The ‘Dodo’ singer who also has a multi million dollar deal with Sony BMG, took to his instagram to share his latest philanthropic endeavour stressing that “so may people deserve education.” HE announced that he will start the scholarship programme with 10 students this year and continue as the years progress.
“So many people deserve education.. Starting from this year I plan to start the Veronica Adeleke Education Scholarship program .. I plan to send people to school every year … I’m starting from 10 students this year details will be released soon on how to apply…. DO YOUR PART TO MAKE THE WORLD BETTER , EVEN IF YOU START SMALL .. AT LEAST START! OBO!” he captioned a picture of himself beach-side as he made the announcement.

This announcement comes days after Davido took to instagram to celebrate his father, Chief Adeleke, revealing that over 100 students who recently graduated from the billionaire’s privately owned- Adeleke University were on various scholarship programmes sponsored by the older Adeleke.

“ Too proud of my father,” God bless you for all of us, sir. Love you too much! ” Davido had remarked when he shared the news.

It’s good to see that the billionaire heir who continually breaks ground in the music industry is vested in educating the youths of this nation.
